the da vinci code - my spoil-free/short review

last night we had an employee screening for da vinci. i feel the need to post a quick blog because it has been getting terrible reviews. i usually don't read reviews until after i have seen a movie, but since this is our movie...i quickly heard how poorly it was received and i couldn't help but take a peek.

i just want to say that i really enjoyed the movie - and i am not saying that just because it's columbia!! i thought da vinci was so much fun and reminded me how much i enjoyed reading the book. i don't want to give away too much (not that i can if you've read the book), but don't get discouraged by the reviews! they are mostly just cranky-sleep-deprived-snobby-cannes-people anyway. :)

i am going to see it AGAIN tonight at midnight, as i had already reserved tickets at the arclight dome before i knew about the employee screening. i'm looking forward to it!
