last weekend i had the pleasure of meeting muhammad ali and his wife lonnie ali. here are a few pictures...
muhammad goes for a kiss...clay fights for me...and...i give in! (wouldn't you?!)

The Bunkhouse

Last weekend April and I caught a ride with Ginny and Jack and Jack's sister Lisa and went to Kansas to visit with Karl and see the bunkhouse. We stopped at McKinney on the way up where Gerry and Bernice and their friends Sam and Lila joined us. Karl made the best brats ( from Regent Street of course)! We went to the site of Knute Rockne's plane crash and had a tour with Easter Heathman, who was on the scene of the 1931 crash when he was just 13 years old.

We also went to the Symphony in the Flint Hills, which was very nice!

Anna Brock

Anna Brock and her First Communion:

Info re her veil: This mantilla was brought back from one of Dad's Brazil trips...all three of my girls wore if for their First Communions and when Mary received hers, my friend Bonnie Boone re-made it into a more formal veil. Mary and AnnaB both wore it...Kaya is welcomed to use it next year, too! A little history lesson from the oldest most precious one...Kaya could wear the dress, too! Love, Mary Ellen
